Max Beesley's High Vibes

Max Beesley has long juggled a twin career as a highly respected actor and musician. In the latter he is without doubt one of Britain’s most talented musicians and multi-instrumentalists. Known for his versatility, Max has made significant contributions to music and his impressive credentials speak for themselves. Beesley has worked with an array of artists as a musician, composer, arranger, and producer, including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker, Earth Wind & Fire, Red Rodney, George Benson, Bobby Shew, James Brown, Incognito, The Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and many more as a drummer, percussionist keyboard player, or on his main instrument, the vibraphone. His Album “Zeus” is the first feature-length album Beesley has released since the huge impact he made on the Acid Jazz movement and his involvement with seminal indie label Boogie Back Productions. His live band performing tracks from the critically acclaimed album “Zeus” is an explosive fusion of Jazz, funk, soul, and contemporary sounds primed for the dancefloor. The compositions feature a funky and soulful dose of cosmic jazz grooves, led by some heavy Rhodes, blistering vibraphone playing, intricate rhythms, and rich harmonies that create a truly immersive listening experience.
